Real Madrid want to sign AC Milan striker Cutrone

According to Don Balon, new Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui, has asked president Florentino Perez to make an important effort for one of AC Milan’s best players in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Despite the last-minute return at Santiago Bernabeu of Mariano Diaz from Olympique Lyon, in fact, the former technician of the Spanish national team would like a further reinforcement in the attack department and has identified AC Milan striker as the perfect player.

We are not talking about the usual Jesus Suso, who continues to be linked with Los Blancos, but of Patrick Cutrone. The 20-year-old centre forward of the Rossoneri, last Friday, decided at the 95th minute the important victory of AC Milan against Roma at San Siro.

Don Balon explains that Lopetegui has been following Cutrone for a long time. So much so that, between 2014 and 2016, when he was still guiding Porto in Portugual, he had signaled a very young Patrick, then 15, to the Lusitanian club management. Cutrone’s 18 goals in his debut season and an average of one goal every 142 minutes has not gone unnoticed.

For AC Milan, logically, Cutrone is unsellable. Coach Gennaro Gattuso holds tight his young star, even though the market is unpredictable especially when Real Madrid are involved. Meanwhile, Cutrone, the match-winner of Milan-Roma, has specified how he suffers to sit on the bench in his post-game declarations.
